Ljubljana /Kranjska Gora

As a multilingual nursery school in Carinthia, we attach great importance to networking, intercultural exchange and active community life. That is why we maintain several valuable partnerships with educational and social institutions in Austria and abroad.
In cooperation with two kindergartens in Ljubljana and Kranjska Gora, we meet once a month for joint Zoom calls. This brings children and educational staff from both countries into contact with each other. They sing and talk together and introduce each other to their respective languages, cultures and ways of life. In addition, we exchange letters and short messages on a regular basis, allowing the children to experience multilingualism and openness in a playful way.

Völkermarkt

Another important partnership connects us with the Völkermarkt primary school. As part of this cooperation, regular joint meetings, excursions and projects take place. The children sing, read, play and learn together, giving them a gentle insight into the next stage of their education.
We have a particularly valuable and cordial cooperation with Pro mente. Together with the clients, we organise numerous creative and social projects. These include making Mother's and Father's Day gifts together, the traditional lantern making for the Lantern Festival, joint picnics and excursions, including to the bee nature trail. These encounters promote mutual appreciation, social learning and community.
Another important cooperation is with the Goldbrunnhof Agricultural College. We are able to visit the school several times during the year and experience programmes designed for children. The children learn about animals, bake biscuits together, celebrate special occasions such as Easter and learn where our food comes from in the ‘From Grain to Bread’ programme. The aim of this cooperation is to use the regional resources right on our doorstep and to give the children conscious, sustainable access to nature and nutrition.
These collaborations enrich our everyday kindergarten life and promote multilingualism, social skills, sustainability and joint learning across age and institutional boundaries.

Our additional offers

In addition to our everyday educational activities, we regularly offer selected additional services that support the children’s development in a playful and age-appropriate manner.

Once a week, we offer early music education for children aged 4 and above. Under the guidance of Doris, the children discover rhythm, movement and music with great enthusiasm. This service is particularly popular with the children. 

We also offer English lessons 3 with Carolyne. The children are divided into two age groups:
– one group for children aged 1 to 3
– one group for children aged 4 to 6
Carolyne designs her lessons to be age-appropriate, child-friendly and playful. Through songs, movement and simple language prompts, the children experience English with enthusiasm and joy.
